Rachel – Jumpsuit

Our pattern was named after Rachel Carson (*27 May 1907, Pennsylvania in the USA , † 14 April 1964, Maryland in the USA).

Carson was a famous biologist and author. In 1962, she wrote the book, “Silent Spring”, the same book that launched the birth of the environmental movement. In her work, she wrote about the consequences of the use of pesticides in the flora and fauna. Likewise, she explained the consequences that pesticides such as DDT can have on nature and humans.

Comfortable and at the same time elegant jumpsuit with side pockets. Due to the wide cut and the elastic at the waist , the one-piece has a very nice flowing fall and is also very comfortable to wear. The pattern includes two different back bodices (with differnt straps) versions and two different trousers versions.

You can find our patterns here in the shop Rachel.
